Since 2015, the Bronx GEAR UP Network worked with a network of schools in The Bronx to ensure that thousands of students were prepared to graduate from high school and enter college. As BGUN enters its final year, the program continues to support its final cohort as they complete their first year of college.
In recognition of The Bronx GEAR UP Network's accomplishments in encouraging students and parents to take active roles in their education, the program was selected by the Washington Center for Best Practices as a model of success. This award made the Bronx GEAR UP Network even more determined to continue effectively servicing our students, parents, and teachers.
